The Natural Horsemanship Program that Glenn teaches is designed to teach the intangibles...focus, feel, feel, timing, and savvy - the things most people think can't be learned. Learn the essence of communication and excellence with horses that will continue to unfold for years to come.
Go way beyond riding...
Being able to read horses is one of the greatest skills a horseman can have. It tells you what approach to take and helps you resolve problems quickly. Stage 1 is where "horse savvy" begins...creating a positive balance of trust and respect, eliminating many common problems and safety issues. The Stages 1&2 Partnership Camps will help you develop and firm understanding of how to acheive respect and safety. You'll learn to play the 7 patterns horses play with one another, break down the prey-predator barrier, create a language with which to communicate and teach your horse on the ground the things you want him to understand when you are on his back.
Save with the February 15th Earlybird.

This year the Ottawa Valley Hunt's annual Ball is being held at the Agricultural Hall in Almonte on May 29th.
We've managed to keep the ticket price down to $90 for adults and $50 for 18 & under, and the price now includes the opportunity to ride on a drag hunt with the OVH on May 29th, as well as lunch and the Ball itself.
The fun starts with a Stirrup Cup at 9.30 am, followed by a drag hunt at 10 am, and our famous Greenbox lunch is at 12 noon.
The Ball commences at 7 pm at the Agricultural Hall (a historic building with a fabulous dance floor) with a free wine & cheese reception, followed by a buffet dinner. There will be two live bands to enjoy, "Union Jack" and "Sticks & Stones," and don't forget to bring your cheque-book, because we have some pretty amazing goodies available in our Silent Auction, ranging from horsy items to weekend getaways, and we're also supporting the local charity, "Kids Come 1st."
Feel free to join us for all or any part of the festivities. If you'd like to ride your horse to hounds, simply download the waiver from our website and bring a signed copy on the day.
Tables in the Agricultural Hall sit 8, so you might like to consider bringing a group of friends to fill a table.
For tickets and questions, please contact Kay Leach: kay @ leachassociates dot ca (minus the spaces before and after “@” and “dot”) 613-257-1331 or Betty Sulpher 613-256-1395
