With show season right around the corner its a great opportunity to brush up and get some great pointers and exercises from a Level 3 Coach and holds his "I" status with the International Equestrian Federation (FEI)
"A course designer, coach and former Canadian Equestrian Team rider, Foster is sort of a show jumping renaissance man."
http://www.horse-canada.com/articles/HSlearnbeforeyouleap04.00.htm
In his illustrious show jumping career, Danny Foster has done it all. A former competitor, Danny was an integral member of the Canadian show jumping team, bringing home an individual gold medal and leading his team to the silver at the 1991 Pan American Games in Havana, Cuba.
His involvement with the team continued as the chair of the selection committee and acting in the role of Chef D'Equipe for the Canadian show jumping team at the 2002 world equestrian games and in the 2003 pan American games. In this role Danny brought home another gold medal in 2004 at the Palm Beach Samsung Nations Cup of America and a bronze at the Spruce Meadows Masters.
Culling from his 30-plus years of jumping courses himself, creating them or teaching people how to do them, Foster offers some suggestions that will ensure your at-home schooling sessions best prepare you for this season’s show circuit.
