Dressage Canada National Pony Program Clinic with Jaimey Irwin

The Dressage Canada National Pony Program - ON Central is holding a clinic with coach Jaimey Irwin on February 1 & 2, 2003 at York Equestrian Centre, Davis Drive, Newmarket. This clinic is open to Pony riders of all levels from ages 10 to 16 who would like to train towards the FEI level with the goal of one day riding on a Team to represent Canada. The private lessons will be 45 minutes in length at a cost of $60 per lesson.

FEI PONY CRITERIA:
A rider may compete as a Pony competitor from the beginning of the calendar year in which he/she reaches the age of 12 until the end of the year in which he/she reaches the age of 16 years.

A pony is a small horse whose height at the withers having been measured on a smooth level surface does not exceed 148cm without shoes or 149cm with shoes.

Clinic Turnout
Rider must be neatly dressed (breeches, clean boots, sweater). Long hair must be pulled back. Please, no baggy clothing! The pony needn’t be braided, but must be clean and tidy with properly fitting tack.

ASTM certified helmet required.
