The teams medal competition is spread over two days. Favourites for gold, Germany has Ann-Kathrin Linsenhoff riding Renoir Unicef at 12:55pm and Nadine Capellmann riding Farbenfroh at 7:50pm. The Spanish will see their national stars Ignacio Rambla Algarin riding Granadero at 1:35pm and Beatriz Ferrer-Salat riding the recently much acclaimed Beauvalais at 8:10pm.

Others sure to feature with top scores on day one are American Susan Blinks riding Flim Flam, Danish rider Lone Jorgensen with FBW Kennedy and the Dutch Olympic Team Silver medallist Coby van Baalen riding Olympic Ferro as well as British rider Emile Faurie riding Insterburg.

Two members of each nation will complete the Grand Prix on day one. Medal contentions will become clearer before the start of the draw for Day two. The Grand Prix will also form the first day of competition for individual riders who will try to secure a spot in the Grand Prix Special, open for the 25 top scorers. Each nation can qualify only three riders.
