Shannon Dueck & Korona Win Grand Prix at Royal Winter Fair

Shannon Dueck aboard her horse Korona, a 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood, won the first leg of the Swarovski Canadian League World Cup Final. The pair were awarded a 65.36% from the judges to place them first going into the final competition, the Freestyle, being held the evening of November 14th.

Close behind is fellow WEG team-mate Belinda Trussell and Royan II. The 12-year old Oldenburg, purchased from Christilot Boylen earlier this year, received a score of 64.96% making it a very close race going into the Freestyle.

1. Korona - Shannon Dueck 65.36%
2. Royan II - Belinda Trussell 64.96%
3. Pryme Tyme - Evi strasser 61.44%
4 Finnegan - Jackie Brooks 58.12%
5 Palafox - Louise Miechowsky 57.32%
