Update from Bromont 2018 World Equestrian Games
The Bromont organizers of the 2018 World Equestrian Games send out an update recognizing 1,000 days until the Games.
While their update didn’t provide too many details, it did talk about construction beginning in Spring 2016 for the new indoor arena which will host the Reining and Vaulting competitions.
Canadian FEI Veterinarian Dr. Yves Rossier has been appointed as the WEG2018 Veterinary Services Manager. Dr. Rossier’s impressive background includes being President of Veterinary Services at the 2015 Pan American Games, Foreign Veterinary Delegate at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy as well as the Vet Clinic Team Leader at the 2012 Olympic Games.
A Team Leaders meeting for national equestrian federations will be held June 2016 during the CCI3*, where technical presentations will be given.
And test events will be held in 2017, although no specifics have been given at this time.
The Organizers promise that their website will be launched soon.
