2013 Canadian Interprovincial Equestrian Championships

The Alberta Equestrian Federation will play host to the Canadian Interprovincial Equestrian Championships (CIEC) taking place September 13-15 at Rocky Mountain Show Jumping in Calgary, Alberta.

A collaborative event between Equine Canada and the provincial and territorial sport organizations, the CIEC will see 66 competitors from eight provinces and one territory test their skills against their peers in the disciplines of dressage, jumping and reining.

The CIEC is considered a key event in the development of equestrian's next generation of national, international and world champions, and a platform for talent identification for athletes, coaches and officials.

The following talented riders have been named to represent their province at the 2013 CIEC. The Alberta Equestrian Federation invites the general public to Rocky Mountain Show Jumping to cheer on these talented competitors. A complete schedule can be found here .

Opening ceremonies will be held at Rocky Mountain Show Jumping on September 11th and includes a banquet dinner. Tickets for the banquet can be purchased by contacting Sophie Beaufils, Alberta Equestrian Federation Competition Coordinator at competitions@albertaequestrian.com .
