This year's attendance set an all-time high attracting over 600 entries.

Lisa Marie Fergusson and Feral Errol

Fergusson and Feral Errol took the lead early in the competition and never lost it. The pair kicked off the event scoring 44.3 penalties in the dressage phase, well ahead Jordan Linstedt and Revitavet Capato's second place score of 49.1. With a foot perfect performance over Ian Stark's boldly re-designed cross-country course, Fergusson kept her first place lead heading into show jumping, where a double clear round gave them the win.

Regarding their performance and win this weekend Fergusson remarked, "I've only had Errol for two months and prior to getting him he had been off for a year, so really, everything right now is about strength, conditioning and getting to know each other. Errol is a very athletic and talented horse so my expectations going into any competition are to be to be very competitive. My goal heading into Rebecca Farm was top three and Errol was fantastic in all three phases so I am obviously thrilled with the win."

"The goals for the rest of the season are to do a couple of national horse trials, a CIC 3* international horse trials and wrap up the season at the Fair Hill CCI 3* Three Day Event," Fergusson said. "Obviously a lot has to come together for that to happen but I think it is well within Errol's abilities and I am very excited to have him in my barn."

Fergusson also placed sixth in the CCI 2* division with her own Honor Me, the seven-year- old Canadian bred Welsh Sport Horse.

In the CCI 1* division, Suzy Elliot riding out of Yelm, WA aboard Aspen Farm's Ferngully, a 10-year-old American Thoroughbred, sired by Born Wild, finished their dressage phase in third place with 46.0 penalties. The pair took on 0.8 time faults over cross-country moving up to second on the leaderboard on 46.8, before taking on 12 faults in Sunday's show jumping round for a seventh place finish overall.
