Collingwood a Huge Success

The Collingwood Horse Shows, held in scenic Collingwood, is eastern Canada’s largest outdoor equestrian event. For fifteen years show jumper Jay Hayes, along with wife Shawn, and daughters Lauren, Ainsley and Regan have organized the tournament.

One of Canada’s top show jumping riders and reigning Canadian National Show Jumping Champion, Ainsley Vince of Milton, ON ignored the wet conditions at the Tournament of Champions on Friday to win the $25,000 Canada Cup Grand Prix over a field of 41 other competitors from across Canada, the United States, France and South America.

Hugh Graham and Kingridge Stable’s Class Action won the $5000 Classic @ Palgrave II Modified Grand Prix on June 9. This Dutch stallion by Libero H is a graduate of the Jumper Development Program. Graham, who has competed in more then one hundred World Cup Qualifiers, had double the reason to celebrate as his wife, Cindy Firestone-Graham, took 1st, 2nd and 4th in the Adult Amateur Hunters with Gettysburg.
