Crabo and McEvoy Victorious at Galway Downs
Barbara Crabo of Scottsdale, Arizona, riding Groovy (Thoroughbred: Pencil Point x Round A Note, by Tell), won the Richard D. Collins Trophy for the USA National One Star Eventing Championship, held at the Jaguar Select Edition Three-Day Event and Horse Trials at Galway Downs in Temecula, California, October 31 - November 3.

At the conclusion of CSIO Athens, the eight teams selected for the Super League are the following: Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Ireland.
National Hunter Jumper Council Zone Teams Capital Challenge Horse Show
For the first time, teams of hunters are representing their zones in the National Hunter/Jumper Council's Prix des Zones at the Capital Challenge Horse Show. Teams consist of one professional rider, one junior or pony rider, and one amateur owner or adult amateur rider. Scores from the first two jumping classes of each rider's respective section count toward the team score. Teams are allowed to drop one score.
USA Equestrian Announces Eventing Forum on Future of Eventing in Olympic Games
USA Equestrian will host a Forum during the CCI** Radnor, October 9, 2003 to discuss the FEI Proposal to the IOC to Retain Eventing in the Olympic Program. We invite all riders, owners, and officials involved in Eventing at the International level to attend. The Forum will be held at 6 p.m. EDT at the Radnor Club.

Defending champion Lauren Hough of Wellington outdueled 1992 individual bronze medalist Norman Dello Joio to capture first place in the $100,000 National Horse Show Jumper Championship on the final day of the 119th annual National Horse Show Sunday at the Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club.
