To be the Better Horse
Falling Star Ranch is pleased to offer intensive, comprehensive camps for adults interested in all aspects of horsemanship. This 10-day program takes you "beyond the clinic and workshop experience" and will accelerate your horsemanship and also prepare you for Chris Irwin Certification in Groundwork and, depending on the participant's previous riding skills, for Chris Irwin Certification in Riding.
The program includes topics such as horse psychology, the differences between predator and prey, equine body language, various groundwork exercises (in-hand leading, round penning, lungeing, long-lining), and instruction under saddle to help participants become pro-active riders.
All training and coaching is based on Chris Irwin's non-resistance methods. These techniques work with every breed of horse, no matter their age or what discipline they are (being) trained for.
